I bought a 2004 4.8l extended cab silverado at a salvage auction bought it wrecked the truck seemed to belong to a person in construction since it was all beat up and a million cigarette holes in the interior. i fixed all the dents and layed a new paint job. i got the truck with 105,000 and drove it for 5,000 miles and ever since i drove it the transmission seems a little wired every time it shifts in to second it seems to shift kinda hard but goes in fine. all of the other gears go in fine as well just kinda shifts hard in to second. my friend said it might be a shift solenoid stuck just add some lucas transmission oil could this be my problem

lol no dont add lucas get it scanned for any driveability codes or any transmission codes the pcm will raise line pressure if it detects any trans related codes and certain engine codes. even though the CEL is not on there still can be codes stored.
