    On a 01 gmc 1500 2wd 4.8, what is needed to sawp from a 4l60e to turbo 400? What do you do about the computer and wiring? I will be a full manual with transbrake.

    Why not use a 4L80?
    98 Chevy RCLB K1500, 5.7, 4L60E transgo shift kit, vette servo, 14 Bolt SF, 3.73s, Blackbear 89 tune

    I would still think swapping in a 4L80 would be easier than trying to make a TH400 work

    so so, not too hard to get the 400 to work, bolt it in with the spacer, fab a crossmemeber and driveshaft, and tune out all the trans codes

    Then what do you do about your speedometer and odometer? I too am looking to do something like this only with a '95.
