SES and ABS lights stay on after start up, different issues than when the Parking Brake Light and ABS light would come on after the first driven mile which was 4.88/35" tire/tune related. Unless this WAS the cause of the tune all of a sudden. Won't matter much, the EFI tune was never right to begin with.
So, I DEF lost 100% of my tune now being the whole PCM was swapped out in favor of a new one, diagnosis was a short within the PCM. My concern is, since they are sending my PCM back to GM will they discover the PCM has been adjusted? Or do they just toss these things into a recycle bin? I hope this doesn't affect my warranty going forward for the next 8 months.
I DEF need a BB tune now with an extra OEM PCM to swap out for trips to the dealer for warranty work.
What's the best way to reach BB? I want to get the ball rolling on this. How hard is it to swap out the PCM's? Where is it? Easily accessible under the dash?
I sent Jenna a PM, didn't know how to reach Justin.

4WD/Motive 4.88s + TrueTrac | 3" BL + Rancho 4" | Polished S/S Waterjet SkidPlate | 20x10 FUEL Nutz
35" NITTOs | Fab'd Lightbar/Bed Tire Mount | Copper Anodized KING Coilovers + Rear 2.5" Piggyback Resi's
N/C, picked the truck up, the tune is long gone obviously, since it's a new PCM, speedo is waaaaay off again, lights come on. Well, now I can get AutoCal and be done with the ECS madness.

I honestly think 07 was the year GM became able to see whether or not the PCM was re-flashed even if you flashed it back to stock before hitting the dealer. Why didn't they flash the new one for your gears and tires?
I have to say that the first trip I took to ECS was great. A week later I blew up my first transmission and it didn't feel the same after that. The second trip I had it tuned for the headers and I blew up another trans but this one was a race built one. Now I feel like it has no balls on the highway.
Moral of the story is ECS does awesome work on Cameros and Corvettes, not so much on trucks. Next time I have money for a tune I want to use BB.
This is true James. I always forget about them.
My bad, thought I remembered reading 456s which would be off of 3.73s and stock tires by about 200 RPM at 80mph. That thing must actually move out under its own power pretty good with a tune.
no problem, thats why i'm here.
and as far as the speedo and odometer being off, whats the difference it's been wrong for MONTHS, whats another few months.
