    notice the stake pocket missing?


    here's an 8' bed just for refrence.

    and notice the presence of the stake pocket...

    His tape measure isnt broken,,but needs recalibration. Btw,long beds are still cool,especially hammered to the ground. ;]

    The interior looks very clean. Good luck with it. Should be pretty impressive when you are done.

    alright alright. sorry fellas. i went out and measured and yes it is an 8ft bed. yeah the truck is really clean and i plan to restore most of it back to origanal besides the airride.

    yeah thanks guys. it will for sure be a fun build. i started buying all my air ride stuff. and ordered some of the interior stuff to get goin.

    Dont expect to lay the main rails w/o changing the front crossmember. Those old trucks have alot stickin down.Center crossmember & front c member.

    Maybe out in CA....Shortbeds are a great find around here.

    Im starting on mine this winter too. Just got my porterbuilt dropmember yesterday!!! She'll be laying out on 22" soon enough!

    It's the complet opposite here, I'd say I see four times as many LWB's as SWB's in my area

    depends on what you're talking about really. LWBs are stockish trucks, most commonly beaters. the shortbeds are the modified/restored trucks. very few NICE longbeds around here
