nice truck
thanks alot man. what do you got
looks nice, but its a long bed
its a 6ft bed
LOWERED EXPECTATIONS
your tape measure is broken, that's an 8 foot bed if i've ever seen one. the stake pocket over the wheelwell gives it away.Originally Posted by dragginmills

here's one with a 6.5' bed.
and the inside of the bed.
notice the stake pocket missing?
here's an 8' bed just for refrence.
and notice the presence of the stake pocket...

His tape measure isnt broken,,but needs recalibration. Btw,long beds are still cool, especially hammered to the ground. ;]
alright alright. sorry fellas. i went out and measured and yes it is an 8ft bed. yeah the truck is really clean and i plan to restore most of it back to origanal besides the airride.

Looks like a great starter truck! Should be a fun project.

yeah thanks guys. it will for sure be a fun build. i started buying all my air ride stuff. and ordered some of the interior stuff to get goin.
LOWERED EXPECTATIONS
Dont expect to lay the main rails w/o changing the front crossmember. Those old trucks have alot stickin down.Center crossmember & front c member.
oh i already have that situation under control. im making a few new members at work
LOWERED EXPECTATIONS
I think londbeds are cool because everyone has a short bed .... and only some people have longbeds
Maybe out in CA....Shortbeds are a great find around here.Originally Posted by Rmenian93

It's the complet opposite here, I'd say I see four times as many LWB's as SWB's in my areaOriginally Posted by Rmenian93
depends on what you're talking about really. LWBs are stockish trucks, most commonly beaters. the shortbeds are the modified/restored trucks. very few NICE longbeds around here
