I'm going to be starting on my 1/2 ton in the next month so I decided to start laying out a plan for the truck ... I'm cannibalizing the high compression 355 out of Blinky (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zXXVSKDsMVY) ... Stock TH400 (Stalled, Reverse manual valvebody later), Stock 6cyl rear (Moser 9" for a Chevy Caprice later), Cut springs in the front and drop blocks in the rear (Tubular control arms, drop spindles, 4-link rear, coil overs later), I'm going to paint it John Deere Blitz Black with an over the bed rail tonneau cover ... Factory 454ss/Suburban buckets with a handmade shifter mount for a Hurst 1/4 stick ... A set of 15x10 Summit drag stars for track duty with either these in 20"or these
...
Once the rolling chassis is finished, I'm going to pull the 355 and drop in either a LS1 or 6.0 and start on a single turbo ...
Also, Can someone photochop those wheels on a '88-'98 C1500 RCSB with about a 5/7 drop? ...
