After talking at shows about making a thread like this I finally have a chance to get started. I will try to keep it updated as I make changes. I will start from the day i bought the truck in 2008. I have put a lot of time and love into my truck and plan to do so for a long time.

I will start with a list of what I have done so far:
    2005 Regular Cab Short Bed

    ENGINE and Drivetrain
    5.3L with stock internals
Heavily upgraded transmission built by Atpro Transmission.
    Tranny cooler
    K&N FIPK
Stainless full length headers and ORY
Custom side exit Magnaflow exhaust modified by Mufflex.
Street and Dyno Tuned by East Coast Superchargers.
    TB coolant bypass.
    180* thermostat
    Trailblazer SS engine cover

    Exterior
    Cleared headlights and bumper lights
    6000k HID lights
    Color Matched Grill shell
    Flat Black Bowtie
    Antenna delete
    Smoked LED 3rd brake light
    Custom smoked tails with Bowties
    Roll pan
    Soft tonneau
    Rear window tint
60" Rampage lightbar w/ reverse (caught on fire) Replaced with standard issue 60" lightbar
    20" Centerline archer II
    275/45/20 Falken Ziex TZ04

    Suspension
    4/6 Drop
Welded and boxed Mini Frame Notch by Greg at Kamikazi Customz
DJM Flip kit reinforced by Greg
    McGaughy's 2" drop spindles
    McGaughy's 2" drop coils
DJM Calmax drop shocks all around
    Poly bump stops
    Shock relocators
    Slam Air bags
Clamped springs to prevent wheel hop (works great)

    Interior and Electronics
Random color matched dash and door pieces
    Long overhead console
    Big 3 power mod
    Pioneer Premier FH-P800BT
    DLS CA50 5 channel amp
    1 Farad Monster Cap
    12ga speaker wire
Diomond Audio 5 1/4 mids and tweeters
    Pioneer 6 1/2 mids
    Infinity 4x6 plates
JL 10w6v2 in custom box incorporated into the base of the factory jump seat

I have wanted to build a RCSB since I was 12 and finally got the chance to do it. I have plenty of plans but can only work with the money I have.

    Future Mods
    Bumper cover
Greg at Kamikazi Customz and I have a plan for one off suicide hood hinges
    90mm TB and matching injectors
    15" Big brake setup
    Leather seats
Forced induction of some sort or a nice cam
    Hard tonneau
    Caltracs
    Shaved handles
    Eaton Locker
    Aluminum drive shaft
    Hood (maybe)
    Smaller mirrors
This list will grow but that is all I could remember off the top of my head.

    Now for the pictures
I am trying to keep them in chronological order

Day I bought the truck 01/27/08

Wasn't to long before I started changing things
I didn't like the antenna so I killed it

Changed the door speakers to Polk

Removed the fake hood scopes and color matched the Bowtie

Changed the wheels to what I have on there now

    Upgraded the radio

    Got my tune at ESC

    Tinted my tails

This is where I ran out of easy stuff. It was time to start cutting stuff.

New notch and drop by Greg at Kamikazi Customz
Took 16 straight hours but it was more than worth it. Greg did an awesome job and the wellds came out great.
Beefing up the DJM flip kit welds

    Prepped for the notch

    Boxing in the notch

The truck was now sitting to low so we modified the drop shackles

Right before the bed went back on

Good shot of my Magnaflow exhaust

    Stock and drop coil comparison

How it sat after the Drop

    Continued

    Added a roll pan

Shots of how the truck is today

I did as much of the work myself as possible but I would really like to thank the people on here and other forums for the information I needed. I also want to give a big thanks to Greg at Kamikazi Customs for his kicka$$ welding skills. The guys at Mufflex for modifying my exhaust to be exactly what I wanted, The guys at Atpro for my killer transmission and finally the guys at East Coast Supercharging for the excellent tune. I would highly recommend any of these guys if you live in NJ.

Sorry for such a long post but I can only hope to make it longer with future changes.

Comment and Criticism are welcome. If you see something that you don't like let me know what it is and why you don't like it.

nice, i wish i could of seen your truck when i was down in jersey. not sure if its not sitting level or something but looks like the front could go down a tad more to level it with the back, but it could just be the picture. sounds like some good plans ahead of you. if you wanna race on the track you should really invest in some m/t drag radials on a smaller wheel. cant wait to see what is to come.

Besides the aggressive exhaust exit, that truck looks like a sleeper. I bet you blow the doors off of some unsuspecting victims don't you?

When I get the 20s I want I am going to run some sticky Nitto 555 tires. As far as unsuspecting victims, there have been a few.

Re: The evolution of HiSpdJunkie's 05 RCSB (56k warning)

    A few questions if you don't mind. . .

    1. Are you sitting at a 4/6 drop now?
    2. What is the tire size and wheel combo that you are running? (I love the fact that there is rubber on those wheels.)
    3. What brand of rear roll pan did you go with?

    Thanks.

Great looking truck. Very subtle and well done. Not over stated in the least. I too am in Jersey. Looking to make some similar mods to my 99 RCLB.

I never mind answering questions. The truck us currently sitting on a 4/6 drop. Tires are 265/60/18 falken Zeix TZ01. They are a bit of a handful at this drop so when I go to larger wheels I will be getting slightly smaller sidewalls. I actually got the roll pan on eBay for under $100 delivered. I used rattle can paint from Automotivetouchup.com to paint it. We are having a meet February 27 and you are more than welcome to join us. Look for the post in the event section if you are interested.

    Thanks.

I will watch for the anouncement for the meet in Feb.

The change in your exhaust. . .was that done as a matter of preference or necessity due to the 4/6 drop?

I am trying to decide between a 4/6 and a 5/7. How do you like the normal everyday driving duties on the 4/6? Do you think the 5/7 would be too low for normal driving duties here NJ?

Re: The evolution of HiSpdJunkie's 05 RCSB (56k warning)

I personally would not do a 5/7 on a daily driver, 4/6 is almost too low for NJ. As for the exhaust, I just wanted to be different. I like the look and it sounds great.

Just thinking about your Air Ride kit. Are you running those bags inflated to some degree for everyday driving and not just as a "helper" bag when loaded down?

Second, would you recommend using a deeper notch as opposed to the supplied notch from DJM (or whomever) when going with a 4/6 drop to avoid losing too much rear suspension travel?
