Well I have decided to hold on to the truck and fixer up. Was planning on building a Jeep for offroading The plan for this vehicle is going to be a multipurpose truck. Camping/Hunting/Trails/Desert. Jeep didnt fit for the hunting. I know some will say that jeeps are great hunting vehicles but I was raised hunting/shooting from a truck.

    Things the Hevy Chevy needs:
    Brakes and Rotors....Done
    Exhaust Leak
    Left Rear Turn Signal(blows immediately)
Wipers Dont work(Never rains in San Diego....Wiper moved to back burner)
Damage from my wife little Fender Bender
    And the infamous P0300 code
Some kind of Waterfall sound when I start it up cold
I am sure that I forgot something so I will update it later.

    Wifes Damage

    Now the Fun stuff
    Remove molding and badges
Herculiner up to body line and over the wheel wells along with bumpers.
Herluliner diamond plate toolbox and DP bedrails
    Also liner the bed
    6" maybe 4" lift.
    16" black steelies
Some 33 12.50, whatever the equivalent to those are. I am so bad at that. Whish I could just put some 15s on her and call it good.

I am sure there are some things I forgotten here also.

This will be a slow build, certainly for the pricey stuff so just bear with me.

    Re: 97 ECSB Bowtie!

So I did my brakes last weekend and have been getting a burning smell ever since. I changed pads and rotors. Have done this plenty of times before and never had a smell like this. I also see a puff of smoke every now and then from the wheel. Will this go away or does something need to be fixed?
