The Battle for Beauregard

This is the story of Beauregard, a truck no one wanted. I hit a deer the day after thanksgiving and totaled my little car, she gave her life for me. The next morning we found this beat up chevy on the internet and it was a good enough to go check out. It is a v6 with a 5 sp., perfect! A little dealing and I drove him home, it was love! I tooled around for a month before the tranny went, We were expecting this. A new clucth and a rebuilt tranny and he was running like a champ! Then that mean ol' Murphy guy had to mess with me. I blew the rt.rear tire on 281 and spun into the center wall. Thankfuly no one was hurt but the front took a good hit. Once again I came home in a tow truck! UUGH!! That was in Jan. and it was cold, but i went on with it. We found a donor suburban that was even black! It took a while but little by little the truck came back to life. Now I have to fix the front end, all the bushings and such need to be replaced ect... That is the project now. I'll post some pics as soon as I can, stay tuned!
