so i picked this 88 k2500 up for 1200 bucks supposedly a 350 crate engine with a new tranny it was a daily driver to and from school and my first automotive project to break into the field. that was a year ago and these pics are a few months old but i didnt do much since i was always driving it now im in college and going for diesel tech so this truck is parked in favor of a car for the drive
first thing i did was repair some lighting issues
next i put an exhaust on since i had none.
my exhaust now is a 2.5 inch straight piped into a 4 inch tip
i put a set of suspension max cams in it to give it a torsion crank and added a set of pro comp es3000 shocks for the front rear are yet to come as i need my leaf repaired and i want to add an add-a-leaf
i changed my stock rims to a set of k5 ralleys with 31/10.5/15 inch bfg ats.
i have a diy bedliner on it
my interior has an aftermarket tach, mechanical temp gaue and oil pressure gauge and a trans temp gauge in an a dual a pillar pod
my engine is basicallty stock i gave it a tune up an added an injector spacer along with a swirl torque tbi spacer and an airaid intake( which i will be switching from soon) i added a fuel pressure gauge inline to keep track of it for future mods.
these pics are before the torsion crank so it will be a good before and after.
i cranked them in april and i believe they are sagging again cause it doesnt seem as high as when i cranked them input on this thought would be welcome.
i have did other body work and will post pics when i get my wheels done comments would be welcome note this isnt a show truck im just winging it and seeng what mistakes come up some stuff is messed up if u look very close
ok i could not figure out how to upload pix can anyone help with that and i will upload them

ok i am uploading them as we speak and my ralleys are getting painted black i used the rust convertor from rustoleum to paint them first. they werent rusted more than some surface rust but there were some patches in the cracks so i sprayed them and now will be painting them so they are getting blacked out but im keeping the center caps and rings chrome and adding black lug nuts to set it all off

You got yourself some cancer to get rid of dontcha??![]()
yes i do but it is basically external my rockers have some but they are still intact and the part of them that is flush with the cab floor doesnt even have surface rust so basically the cab corners rear wheel wells and there is a section of frame that has some but im looking into patch panels for it i think it looks good for being in central indiana vehicles dont last long around here
well upadting with future plans aside of getting the rust fixed im thinkin of adding a procomp pro runner maybe a tbichips towmaster chip for starters i thought about storm chasing with this truck so there will deffinately be alot of interior mods to it distant plans are for a solid axle swap onto it for offroading any suggestions on kits?
