The weather here has been schitt since Thursday so my progress on the hot rod truck = none. For lack of better things to do in the pouring rain I decided to fab up some adjustable jack stands. They sell for about 30 bucks apiece, but I had some 1 inch square laying around and figured what the hell.
I took out the chop saw+MIG and got after it. Had some large industrial bolts x4 and simply welded them into the tubing on the top for 7 inches adjustement on a 20 inch tall base. Now I can put them under the bed and adjust them up and down to fab up the bed mounts for the frame.
Not too pretty, but sometimes it's fun to just crank up the MIG wided open and burn it hot without worrying about what's warping like we do so often, you know ? It felt goooooooooood.Anyway here they are. Still need paint.

My build thread here:Not only would CT destroy his soul with demeaning and hurtful words in concise sentences, he'd sick a goddamn badger on him, then post about it on FSC.
