i agree Deven... either way is going to involve some SEM paint since 400's have a dozen different shades in EACH interior lol.
Since my truck is a Cheyenne, it doesn't have some of the interior trim pieces that other models have..but i'm collecting those pieces, and then i'm gonna have sound deaden-er everywhere..haha.
My headliner is toast... that's a job for mom since she's a seamstress.
send me a message of some the smaller peices you need I have another dash and I really only need the top pad. I also gotta few other peices lying around Ill send em to ya for whatever the shipping is

The truck is coming along nicely! My build should progress through the same stages as yours.
Looking good! You've done a great job so far and just like everyone else I can't wait to see it done as well. Keep up the good work!
thanks for sharing the picture. It is amazing. You really did a great job.
thanks for the compliments everyone.
I have a small trick up my sleeve for the front license plate bracket/box. (stay tuned)
the community where my truck is currently had an electrical outage Wednesday and as a result, lost a day of progress
hopefully they'll get some paint on it in the next week. The bed is 90% ready to paint. The cab corners are both on now.. have a small ding or two to fix and then after some more stripping on the front half of the truck, we'll be ready for paint soon.
he knows what i expect for the $$$ involved. I talked to him today and he said they got some other jobs finished this week and that my truck is high priority next week. I told him just work on it as he could... i understand that he's making much more money off insurance work. I want to take it to Morristown, TN next month to a show (as under construction as the interior is in pieces). I'm just anxious to drive it with a new color on it! haha.
the new windshield and rear solid glass arrived today.

November 12 & 13. Would be nice to get some of southeastern FSC Members down there.
Nice progress so far. Looking forward to seeing the green on it. Also I want to see what you have in mind for the license plate, I always thought the stock plate holder is bulky.
QUESTION:
for those that have hidden roll pan hitches.... Do you hook your safety chains up? don't they rub the roll pan? I'm gonna look for a way to get the steel hoops at the ball (or close by) so i won't risk chains scratching up the roll pan.
Any suggestions??
i guess that'll be my move. Thanks for the tip BHB. My paint/bodyman asked had i pre-planned on how to pull my utility trailer and of course i said "NO"..haha
the flip plate kit doesn't give enough room to squeeze a hand in there to insert the pin and clip into the hitch/receiver..so it looks like i'll have to lie down at the rear of the truck to insert the pin...no biggie. i rarely pull anything anyway. i just wanted the "option".
