    getting started on the front half...





    all that's left to get ready for primer is the cowl hood (should go quick since it's new), the roof, and back of the cab. He said i should see some green parts next week.

    Looking good maybe I missed it but are you shaving anything besides the tailgate. Like the antena or stake pockets. I love my shaved ant

    tailgate and stake pockets are shaved. will probably shave antenna too.

    edit: just called and asked that the antenna get shaved too... i'd been on the fence about it. time for satellite radio!

    I think that will really add to the truck, subtle but big.

    you wont regret it looks so much cleaner. Stylin has an antenna that mounts in or under the dash thats what im goin to get. Either that or a cd player with an aux pot so I just jam to the 4 gigs of music on my phone

    tomorrow will be 4 weeks the truck has been in the shop... i'm missing her terribly. The weather was awesome this weekend and the fall colors were nice and would have made a nice back-drop for new truck pics... *sigh* hopefully we see some green this week. i'm beyond anxious.

    I would go crazy waiting! I went crazy just waiting on my hood to get painted, I am sure it will be all worth the wait though

    Deven, got my "hidden" antenna in today. to my surprise it has a wire for 12v power. I hope it's amplified enough when i get it installed.

    I'm not... that's why i didn't invest much in it. I'm addicted to the John Boy and Billy Big Show..listen to it every morning on the way to work. (only drive the truck about once a week during nice weather )

    talked to the painter on my lunch break.... the truck is in full primer now. The bed has been primed, block sanded, etc and final prime on. Starting the cab's 2nd prime today. I'll stop by tomorrow and get pics. At least she's not white anymore..woo hooo!
