my 01 sierra build

so i have been lurking and posting here and there for a few months so i figured i'd post a quick build up of my truck so far.

so this was my truck the day i bought it, a bone stock 01 sierra z71 SLE 4.8L with 109k on it.



one of the first things i did, was put on a cap that i got on cl for $75



ended up finding a 03+ console at the junkyard and also a long overhead console





also built a underseat storage box that hold 1 10" sub, my amp, and a 700 power inverter



traded my jumpseat for a set of oem fender flairs



added a set of modified nnbs power/heated/signal tows and took out the drls to make them another turn signal



after rough country leveling kit and 1.5" zone body lift. also threw on a set of 35/12.50s to see what they would look like



this is how it looks today, took off the molding and step bars. also running a set of nnbs z71 18's



My truck is a dd and i dont have much $$ to put into it, so everything i do is cheap. i only have about $1000 in it total for all the parts i've added. Since i drive 4-500 miles a week my plan is to go with a set of 33s at some point and i'm also having my brother fab me up a set of n-fabs to make it easier for my wife to get in.

Truck looks great! I have an 00 z71 I'm getting ready to do some color matching on and I love how your truck looks. The nnbs 18 really set it off

Thanks. I held off for a while on the color matching, but it looks so much better now.
