    hey im building a ls1 powered 94 silverado. i dont want to run any bigger then a 17 inch rims , as it has 20's now and want to go smaller . i want a nice wide tire in the back and a normal tire up front , can you guys help me on how wide of a rim i should use , what backspacing ,and also what tire size and tire rcomdations pleasee . also what is ur opion on best suspension set up . how much of a drop from stock . also what used to lower it , leafs , hangers a shackles . this truck will be runnin mid 13's so i need a nice set up . thank you guys . any extra info , just email me at nastyboyzracin@aol.com . thanks again

    I'll answer you here instead of the e-mail.

    My '94 is lowered 6/8. Spindles and springs in the front and a flipkit and shackles in the rear. If this is your daily driver...stick w/ a 5/7 drop using the same set-up. Also, get helper bags for the rear.

    Rims....front 17 X 8 w/ 245/45/17 and 17 X 10 w/ 275/40/17's in the back. Not sure on the backspace, i ordered them 10 years ago.

    And.....stick w/ DJM or Bell Tech lowering parts.
