I have searched and searched, and even google, and only found 1 s-10 out there with a york 210 on an older 4.3...Anybody ever done this to a Fullsize? My york is in the mail, and i know where i am going to mount it, but i still need ideas on how i am going to build my brackets. Has anybody ever done the york on a 4.3L, if so... can you help me out and be so kind to put pics up of your bracket setup? thanks in advance.
btw, just for reference, i have an 88 OBS with a 4.3L.

i was going to mount mine like yours is, but i have a 4 groove serpentine system which is really weird. So i think im gonna modify a kilby combo pulley and run a v-belt to the compressor on the drivers side. I am just worried about building brackets for this thing. That is my main concern. I wish i had a 6 groove serp. setup.Originally Posted by joakwin
i didn't know the 88's had the 4 groove serp pulley system, i know the 87 have it
i guess it would be better for u to use the combo pulley for kilby, and mount it on the drivers side,
junkyard yorks come with a v-belt clutch so u could use that and it would probably save u money on putting a york kit together urself

yup, i just got a 210 with a dual v-belt pulley for $33.. im gonna make my own brackets... all i have to buy is fittings, and the combo pulley from kilby... and hopefully i will be pumping air for under $250... i never want a DC compressor touching my truck. I am going to be too switch happy to wait long for air.Originally Posted by joakwin

Im getting the kilby combo pulley from onboardair.com. and the dual v-belt pulley comes with the compressor.Originally Posted by Drgn20's
