    Re: Post Your Setup

Here is my 94 chevy with a 4" 6" drop 2inch drop spindles 2 inch belltech coils & flip kit in the rear and the fenders are rolled. It now has 20x8.5 rims with 255x35x20 tires . I used to have some 20's with 45 series tires and it rubbed the tires on big bumps. So when I bought these new 20's I put some 35 series tires on. I wish I would have bought some 40 series though it would have filled the gap between the fender and tire just perfectly with out rubbing at all. My 35 series don't rub at all but the gap is a little bit bigger than I wanted. I don't want to lower it any more either that way I can still put some 22's on it it the future. By the way I did try some 22's with 35 series tires and it rubbed just like 20's with 45 series. Bottom line is this if you have a 4" 6 " drop and you want to run 20in rims 40 series tires look the best and if you want to run 22's 30 series would be best no rubbing no gap.

    Year: 1995
    Make: Chevy
    Model: 1500
    2wd or 4wd: 2wd
    Tire Size: don't remember
Wheel Size: Budnik Tusk, 17x8 up front, 17x10 in the rear
Drop kit size and Brand if not stock: Beltech front and rear, c-notched

This is how I bought the truck back in 2005. That is all paint, no vinyl whatsoever. I was told that the paint cost $7k back in 1996. A 70 year old white guy drove this truck before I got it!

The truck has since been drastically changed. You would never guess it was the same truck.

1994 Chevy 1500, Belltech 2/4 drop, 2" Belltech drop spindles with 2" drop hangers, and 2"drop shackles. With 265/70-15 tires. Very smooth ride! but tires are wide so if you hit a big dip in the road you can possibly scrape. But i decided to go 4/6 so Im going back to all stock in the back and doing a flip kit. And putting 2" drop coils upfront and new nitro drop shocks all the way around.

*Note- Spindles say you need bigger than a 15" rim but I didnt know until it was to late so I just grinded down my control arm. Also on the back I didnt feel like taking the bed off so I just jacked it up and worked from underneath it. possible to do but once you get to tightening the bolt for the hangers it was a pain to get a wrench to the nut.

I had the smoke lights but I lost the taste for the look so I changed it up.

Updated pic. new lights and mirrors

Your truck looks great! Mine is very similar to yours. Mine is white with a different grill, but i do have side exit exhaust just like that. Great minds think alike i guess. What type of shocks are you running currently with your 2/4 drop?

You guys are pushing me to go for a 2/4 drop and 22s instead of just drop shackles and 20s.

drop shackles and 20s? 20s are small and drop shackles are hardly noticeable
