I have found a doetsch 4/6 kit with doetsch shocks for under $550 shipped. Any one know if these kits are good? I know most recommend the shocks. BUt wondering if the drop kits themselves are also good. it comes with spindles, coils, and the flip kit w/notch. and also four of the "Premium Nitrogen Slammer" shocks. just wanted some insite before i make the purchase.

i'm only waiting for a email from the seller on ordering procedures. the price of the kit with shocks was about the same as the kits without shocks for i wanted to verify from him that i did read everything correctly. only thing i have to do next is measure my shackles/hangers to see what was used to lower the back 2" from the conversion company (probably shackles). and get some stock ones. or is there a way to get around that? not install the blocks or somethings? i've already lined up someone for the rear install, me and welders don't get along together lol. and he is gonna build a custom notch so i will have that for sale most likely. rest of the truck is completely "de-conversioned" and everything sold except the running boards. still looks odd when i walk into the garage, but definatley getting used to it.

You have 2" shackles most likely. You can get a set of stock ones off of here I'm sure.
As far as welding in a notch.....don't there is no need to w/ the 6" rear drop.....use the bolt-on one it comes with.
