exact tire for front 3/4 drop 05=255/40/20 or45/20

Hey, I was hoping for some advice. I'm lowering my truck one more inch, and i'm gonna have to downsize my front tires to do so. I have done the calculations and it seems to me the 255/40/20 is going to fit for sure. But the 255/45/20 might also fit, but I dont' know for sure if it will rub. i have spindles and i'll be using 1 inch drop springs. The new springs will be stiffer, so although it won't rub standing still, I can't be certain it won't rub while driving. If anyone has this set up, rcsb 05/2wd. I would appreciate it. I would rather have the slightly bigger tire.
