24's on bodydropped 95 silverado?

This is a discussion on 24's on bodydropped 95 silverado? within the Street forums, part of the General Discussion category; I was wondering if anyone knows if I can lay body with 24's all the way around on my 95 ...

    I was wondering if anyone knows if I can lay body with 24's all the way around on my 95 Silverado. If anyone has any pics that would be great, but any info will help out.....thanks alot

    Marcos ftw! McCustomize in the link cut a spot of his fenders out. It can be done with a lot of work and a smaller series tire without cutting the fender.

    McCustomize is also changing to a caddy front clip which will allow his tires to clear just fine.

    not too bad of a job to lay it out on 24's. 275/25/24 is about the only size tire that will work though. It's like laying out on a 265/35/22

    those 275/25/24 tires should only be used on 300c's and small cars like that,
    i think its a joke to put those tires on a truck
    but hey whatever, its not my ride i have more side wall so it doesn't really matter what i think

    well thanks for the help but it looks like i might just go with 22's up front instead. it will be a hell of alot easier

    And imo a hell of a lot better. Im not a huge fan of the huge wheels. I personally think 22s is what looks best.

    thats a little over 29" right? you might be able to do it with a 275/30/24 its right at 30.5"

    that'll be super close to sticking out of the hood. My 29.3's have rubbed the hood supports a few times,which aren't but about an inch tall.

    make sure yall get accurate measurements....all the bs of using internet calculators sucks cause they are never as tall as they are supposed to be.

    i would go with 22s if i do i body drop get more tire ind they look just perfect on my burban i did a 24s with 305-35s but im only layn frame i have seen another truck laying body with the 305s but he had a **** load of cam ber so they will clear the hood
