Hey guys, im back in the truck scene after selling the GTO and taking some time to think about what i want to do.

im looking to make a "rat" style truck out of an OBS 2wd truck. im wondering if anyone has any pics of rat rod inspired trucks.

im just starting to plan out what i wanted, and as it would figure i found the perfect truck for my plans before i got the money (so naturally it will be gone before i can pick it up).

either way. if anyone has any rat inspired OBS truck pics id love to see them.

thats exactly the style im looking for... great looking truck.

what do you guys think of a lowered rcLB ? i think a shortbed is best, but long bed can fit a good bit of junk in back and i found a VERY solid starter truck with low miles. only draw back is the bed is SOOOOOOO long.

Longbeds don't bother me, my last daily was an extended cab longbed. Almost every time I go to haul something now I hate that I have a shortbed. Short trucks look sportier but there's something badass about a loooooong lowered vehicle, whether it's a truck or car.

yeah i was a little offput by the look of the longbed at first. but then was looking around while driving today (i drive a ton for work) and i think they have potential. it will look lower without being quite as low which is good for me because i want to do static drop only.

the extra cargo room is another great point. i have a colorado for work and its a quad cab with the short bed. and i cant fit crap in it and it annoys me. i think i can also find some cool uses and things to fill the long bed that will be cool permanent in bed mountain bike racks perhaps.

    sounds like a good concept.

i dont fit in any of the S10 trucks bc im a big guy, but i do love the look of them. (im 6'8 and near 300 lbs so s10 is out for me lol) but i fit just fine in my old RCSB silverado.

i look forward to the pic

Nah. Sure he has a Rat Fink on his tonneau, but that nice paintjob keeps it out of rat rod territory.

I was looking more at the rake along with the meats in the back profile.
