I currently have beltech drop spindles and springs, and my tires want to occupy the same space my fenders do, and I have trimmed my fenders and rolled them, but would like some more clearance. I have read somewhere that djm spindles are a narrower track width. Anyone know how much over the belltech spindles? Can you run 15 inch wheels still with the djm?
As on my 87 suburban that had different control arms, the rubbed hard when trying to turn. The reason for 15's is for at the drag strip, smaller and lighter, and I store the truck in the winter on a set of factory 15's as to not ruin the 20's. I would like to get this sorted out asap so I can have it ready for the spring/summer season.

    Forgot to mention it is a 1997 2500, converted to a 1500.

I believe the difference in the wider, versus narrower stance lowering spindles is only one-half inch. Everyone makes a big deal out of what brand is better when it comes to which ones stick out more than others. How low your truck is, what off-set your new larger diameter wheels are, etc., are much more important, with regards to fender lip clearance issues. If you go low enough, you need to clearance the fenders anyways, no matter which spindle brand you go with. Just my .02

They should give you a little more clearance but you will have to trim the rain gutters on your LCA's that's why the beltechs stick out a little so there is not trimming required.

Ok. Thanks for the replies, that is the info I was looking for. 1/2 of clearance is all I need, and trimming the control arms a little to allow for rims to go in storage is ok for me.
