called summit today for a price on a complete WC kit they didnt have it yet. So i priced 2" spindles 2" coils and a 6" flip/c notch kit. Western chassis was 734.85 and DJM was 455.82. Is western worth almost $300 more?

Definitely can still be a truck with a 4/6 with helper bags.
Been doing some shock searching myself.
Here is the Monroe shock link....

What I have found so far is that most rear shocks have too much rebound dampening.

95 Chevy ecsb 2WD 5.7L far from stock
Never done!
do ya got prices for the different parts?
only thing i didnt like with djm was there rear flipkit/c notch. tho i havent used or seen instructions with the WC kit so not sure on how good it is or ease to instal. try to find instructions on its install, see all the parts that are included as well and see if its kinda a quality or what not.

Don't know if this helps but I'm running these shocks on mine with shock extenders out back:
Front: Monroe Sensa-Trac = 37137
Rear: Monroe Sensa-Trac = 37027
It's a 95 rcsb with a 4/6 drop with stock rims and tires and I haven't had any issues with my truck being bouncy or anything
thanks i'll check those out to.

addiction2bass and 1badgmc. Whats up guys, yall remember me from 8-10 years ago. Crazy. ANyways sorry I thread jacked just the first post i clicked on and seen old members I use to interact with on here. i used same user name back then. Black sierra bagged 22s
attempted to start the install tonight but that ended fast. The castle nuts on my oe spindles just about slide over the threads on the WC spindles. Not sure where to go from here.

Sorry.... I'm posting so I could follow this thread. I'm also deciding on what kit to go with.

'91 reg cabs have a thinner front rotor, and a shorter spindle as a result (i was not aware the spindle was a different size thread though). many of the drop spindles use the 92+ reg cab, 88-98 ext cab, size rotors. manufacturers make the spindle for the 88-91 reg cabs but if everything in the front needs to be replaced it would be a good time to replace/upgrade.

truckless
the wc thread is either a fine thread m20 metric or a fine thread 3/4 sae. it appears my oe is a 7/8" or metric equivalent.

I got the front spindles inlast night. The machining on the castings is tight. I had to widen the area for the calipers with a grinder. The spindle its self is threaded a lil small so there is some play in the castlle nut but it tightens up good. IDK if it metric or sae. maybe a fine thread M20 nut would fit tighter I'm not sure. The brake caliper bolts holes are tight to be careful with those. otherwise the install was easy. just small on the machined parts. starting the flip/notch today alone so it wont be done 2nite

the rear end is in. I had to round over the edges of the saddle the axle sits in for the flip kit. Also had to pound them with a hammer to close them a little bit. with out doing these two things they wouldnt fit into the oe axle pad. Also the saddle is not tight on the axle tube. but with the mods i did it is tight to the pads so it should be secure. Gotta do the notches now.

Helper bags and your set.
i have my 93 reg cab short box down 5/8 and i used belltech bolt in notchs and shock extenders and monroe air shocks, with 140 psi in them it rides good and i can still use the bed for wood or a fourwheel and whatnot
