on my 02 silverado 4x4 i just lowered with spindles in the front and slight torsion decrank and for the rear i removerd the factory block and added drop hangers and drop shackles. im currently still running the stock shocks, ive read to get doetch or summit sport shocks but i cant seem to find them for lowered 4x4 over a 4" drop. will shocks for lowered 2wd work?

2” drop mcgaughy spindles. I got them off eBay for around $250. I couldn't find them on eBay for 4x4 silverado so I had to look them up for a tahoe. If your 4x4 make sure you get the spindles for 17" or larger wheels or they won't work

02 and up tahoe. I guess its about a 4/6. I just leveled the front with the rear. I also put in a mini notch in the rear for clearence and removed the front bump stops

I made my own but you can buy a bolt on notch that gives you about 2" of clearance. The bolt on notch stays under the bed. If you take off the bed to do the drop hangers you might as well do it. Or if you do a flip kit you still need to do a notch
