    Clear up my foggy mind... (air)

    I know I am most likely going to go with a 4link, and put bags up front and relocate the shocks. I am lost on suicidedoors.com 4link setup.

    What else will I need (besides compressors, ect) and is the bracketry going to hang down below the frame?

    I will probally have some more questions but this is all I can think of right now.

    [EDIT] Also what is my ride height going to be?

    i really don't like the sucide doors 4 link to much but it works, the for link that you have a picture of there is a trianglated 4 link if you want to keep your stock gas tank you are going to want to go witha parallel 4 link with a panhard bar. i think the parallel is a little easier to install, unless you have self indexing brakets for a triangled 4 link..... the parallel is pretty straight forward.. you weld the front mount ont to the frame make sure the bars are at the proper leve and height weld in your rear braket and then add your pan hard an you are done..

    Air Ride has a nice weld on parallel 4 link or you can go with the Air Bar for bolt on. I don't know about KP components, but I've heard they have some decent 4 links as well.
    2001 Silverado. KP components 4 link w/cantilever, ART Cool Ride.

    The AirRide weld on one is also $449 whereas the suicidedoors.com 4link is $209.

    KP Components makes a bolt-on 4-link for our trucks. I'm looking at KP for a 4-link when I buy for the Yukon. :)

    I know it's not their bolt-on, but Larry quoted me the KP universal that I can use on the Yukon for $385.

    If you are basing your decision solely on price, there is no need to go any futher. Jason has everyone beat on price. Call him at 812-782-3581 and order.
    He is a good guy, and makes nice products. I sell, and stock, his brackets, but I will not touch the four link. I do not agree with the non adjustable end idea. ( on a universal kit. the bolt ons with self indexing brackets are completely different). The simple answer everyone gives is install it right and you won't have any problems. But as I go around the web, I see posts all the time about people having roblems with vibrations, etc from a messed up pinion angle. So if peple are having a hard time getting it right, when it's adjustable, I really think expecting people to get it right the first ( especially if they have never done it ) is a little to optimistic. I will stick with adjustables myself.

    KP's bolt in retails at $500 for the four link only, with the cantilever an extra $430. Their universal weld in parallel is $412 retail, and the weld in universal triangulated is $297 retail. Go to your favorite ( Me ) KP dealer to possibly find a better price.

    nonononono not basing it soley on price. But price is a big factor. I thought about Chris Alston's Chassisworks because in the catalog it is $371 and ajustable. The rest of the brackets and stuff I could just use suicidedoors.

    Is there any advantage to the triangulated? I do want to be able to rock side to side.

    A parallel 4-link requires a panhard bar to keep the axle centered. The problem with a panhard is that when you go above or below the set center, your axle will shift to the side. In my case, I can stick my right wheel about 2" outisde the fenders when aired all the way up. I have a local guy who is going to fabricate me a system that eliminates the shifting.

    A triangulated 4-link eliminates the need for a panhard or other setup, but in turn, you have to get rid of your gas tank and go with a fuel cell or just plain move the tank.

    Moving the gas tank is not a problem
