So I get in my truck this morning and I notice some papers have been chewed up. Look a little closer and there is some tiny little turds there. A friggn mouse moved into my truck last night.

I need to find the little bas**rd and kill it before it wrecks to much.
Funny thing is I live in town and I park on the street.

Anyway, right now I have some sticky pads with bait on them sitting where it crapped. Any help or ideas how to get it quickly?

 First time I've heard of a rodent problem in a truck. How do you think it got in?

Little prick was probably living in a ford, and decided It wanted some class. I have no idea how it made it way in tho'. I have heard of them getting into the blower motor for heat.

But seriously.......if you poison or trap the critter, make sure you get it out fast. They start to stink quickly.

Set a fire and smoke him out. Or maybe that would burn him out.

When I got in my truck to go home from work yesterday, a little spider had made a very impressive web almost the size of my window! After riding with the windows down last night and today, it is still there! No sign of the spider, though.

    Invasion

Molsondrnkr.......just how low is you truck sitting? Or do those western mice have magnetic feet?
A trick I use for getting rid of unwanted guests such as bees, skeeters, and worse of all, farm flys, is to close all of my vents including the HVAC and park the vehicle in the bright sunshine on a hot summer day. Nothing's comming out alive after five or six hours of that Of course you have the smell problem to deal with
A mouse trap bated with peanut butter is just too irresistable for a mouse.

I had a ford diesel before my Z71 and it had a mouse in it. When I would drive I heard a squeak, thought it was just the ford sound The next day I got in the truck and the whole floor was full of insulation from under the dash. I set a trap with a peanut super-glued to it, and it was dead by nightfall. I had a travel trailer that was destroyed by mouse infestation between the floors during the winter. They don't need any room to get in a vehicle, they are very small. The internet is full of stories of car wires being ruined by mice.

I had a mouse living in my first 57 Chev before it was restored... It isn't THAT far fetched!

Clean your car out and keep it lifted.. Set a trap just like you would in the house.
Check my truck out, I want a new project!:

    Got Her!!

Got Home from work today. Mouse was still with me. Noticed more poop behind my console. So I get a brainwave and decide to take my console out. I pop the tray thing out and sure enough I see a little baby mouse.
Cool I found it's nest anyway. I'm still looking at the baby when mamma mouse pokes her head out to see whats going on. Busted!
She is hiding at the back of the console under a steel plate. I poke her with a screwdriver, she ran out but had nowhere to go. I grabbed one of those sticky pads and stick her on it. I get my tools and remove the console. Once I have it off I see 3 more babies.
SOOOO glad I found them when I did. Looks like they just ate some underlay of my carpet.

Anyway I disposed of them (to put nicely) .

Here's some pics if ya want to look.

Cleaned everything up and now I'm happy agian.
