    What kinda truck?

    Any suspension mods done already?

I leveled my 88 longbed ext cab with a pair of $20 rear shackles, and have had no problems. I don't know if there are superior methods...

it's a light duty 3/4 ton. i don't want to lower the rear, i want to level it by raising the front end. and no suspension mods.

If it's 4WD it should have Torsion Bar adjustment to it to raise it. Just make sure you turn the bolt the same number of turns on both side.

You can crank the torsion bars up. This will get you about 2" of lift. The best way to do this is to measure the front of the frame, jack up the front end adjust the torsion bars, lower the truck and drive around to settle the suspension and remeasure at the same point. Do this until it is at the height you want. You may have to crank the bars different amounts to get the same amount of lift out of each side.

I lifted my 2003HD4x4, bought new "pork chops" torsion key ways for suspension products. Had a dealer install as it is suppose to take a special tool, you can do it with simple hand tools but the t-bar is under tension.the new pork chops allow more than 2 in.cost was $69 plus shipping. the front end had to be realigned after the twist.

i really don't want to crank my torsion bars because i heard that could break stuff, and don't have the money to fix anything. that's why i wondered about these torsion keys. i know there's the tech article about how to put new keys on in the tech section. i might try some of these keys, and have someone put them on.

You can do get the t-bar keys, or there's a spacer you can buy that sits on top of the coil spring and pushes and adds an inch or two, most people around here seem to prefer the t-bar keys/crank. It seems like an easier process from what I've read.

using the ford keys or cranking the stock keys has the same effect on the front end, the ford keys allow for more crank. I went with the keys on my half ton and love the stance. There are plenty of 3/4 tons out there with 2" of crank, I doubt you would have much trouble due to the stronger front end components.
