Any one have any idea what this code is , I read it is a fuel compensation sensor circuit low voltage .(PO178)

Sure it's not a fuel composition sensor? Is your truck a flex fuel 'equipped' one? Should be the sensor that tells a flex fuel vehicle what mix of fuel you are running.

the sensor is next to the fuel filter,fuel lines and an electrical connector attach to it.on 4wd models Ive seen wires by the front driveshaft rubbing on the shaft.if thats not the case probably a bad sensor.about 600 bills at the dealer.
Thanks , I think I had an issue because I had a low battery and was snow plowing , I cleared code and it never came back , so hopefully I am set
