i always use whatever comes stock on your vehicle - theres really no guessing to it, you and your truck already knows it works - i went 110,000 miles on my stock ACDelco's so i stick with them.

Good wires, or really good? If they're about the best I can get for the money, I'll order them when I hear back...

They are going to be better than like a $30 set from your local part store. Plus I got mine in two days shipped from OH. I ran MSD super conductors on my 98 and 04, but the money in the "go fast fund" wasn't there this time. I would highly recommend these wires.

Went 240k on stock wires before changing my plugs again and the wires literally fell apart when I pulled them off. I bought Bosch so we'll see.

8.5mm MSD superconductors.. best EVER! for OEM i like Bosch premium wires, their plugs suck.

Re: Whats The Best Spark Plug Wires?

I've had no luck with MSD wires on my mostly stock truck. Both times I've installed them on my truck and within a year I was missing on a number of cylinders. Using a multimeter to ohm out the wires each time proved that a couple of wires had failed, with no visable damage to the wire. Shame on me for trying the same brand that failed twice. In the same breath I'm not sure what is the best wire. I used to buy wires from a local guy (Scott Performance Wire) but he moved and I can't seem to find his stuff any more.

i never had a single problem with MSD on multiple vehicles. wires dont fail unless they are burnt through or old (cracked)

Stock OEM will be just fine if you have not done anything to the truck. I did get Tylor 10.4mm for my stock 99 sierra so I did overkill it a bit but they have worked just fine for me.

Re: Whats The Best Spark Plug Wires?

If you don't go with Delco, the best OE-type replacements I've found/used are NGK. They are an 8mm wire, with a silicone shroud, and they're bright blue lol. I've never had a problem with them, and almost all of the shops around town specifically ask for these. They aren't the cheapest wires, but they are less than a set of Delcos.

    EDIT:
Oh yeah, and I have used Bosch, and I never will again. I get too many sets back at work because they can't even be bothered to put the right length wires in the box. I bought a set to use on a Cherokee I used to have and one of the wires was too short, and there was nowhere else that it would fit.
