Does anyone use the NAPA brand full synthetic oil?
If so, what do you think of it?

I was told it is Valvoline. Does that mean it's the same as the Valvoline Syn power?

Here is the breakdown of the cost difference at NAPA. (I hope I remember the prices correctly)

    5W-30 Full Synthetic Oils:

    NAPA..........$4.79/qt.
    Valvoline......$5.99
    Mobil 1........$6.99
    Royal Purple..$7.69

Valvoline makes the NAPA oil,I've seen the results of VOA tests for Valvoline Synpower 10w-30 and Napa Synthetic 10w-30 the add packs are a bit different(better)on the Valvoline branded versus the Napa private label version. I would expect the same to be true of the other Napa private label oils from Valvoline. Also long as its rated SM it should be good for 5K miles, nothing to wright home about..you get what you pay for..

Yep valvoline has a line it makes for off branding for Napa. So that is correct. Also valvoline used to make Gm motor oil/Goodwrench oil. Not sure who makes it anymore.

Yup "used to",, ExxonMobil makes GM Goodwrench oil and I think also Genuine Honda oil, been that way for years now.

also in Canada, GM Goodwrench oil is Petro-Canada.

If we get what we pay for, would you say that Royal Purple is really as good as they say?

    Could you elaborate?

In what cases would RP not be good, or not "the best"?

Not getting in to all that too much typing, for a regular type
passenger car not needed you can get just as good or better
results(UOAs) from a cheaper oil,but some racing apps this oil
oil stands out, visit this iste and go through the uoa section.http://www.bobistheoilguy.com/forums...s.php?ubb=cfrm

not saying it's a bad oil, just over priced for the results you get outa it in certain apps.
