The master and slave are plastic too... I nearly took out a row of parked cars before I figure out wtf was going on when it happened to me.

I ended up replacing the line and slave, only to replace the master 2 weeks later.

Sounds like a snapped rod. Look under the dash at the pedal near the pivot.

ill check all that, the slave and stuff looked good but i could see up under the dash, the rod seemed to be workin on the clutch master cylinder, theres still fluid in my line, and resovoir for the most part. thats why confused it was a snapping sound

Did it sound like it was toward the tranny.
Thought, maybe the clutch fork, or throwout bit it.
Actually I don't know if you have a clutch fork.
    Anyway, it's a thought.

Just work through it methodically. Start at the pedal and work your way from cylinder to cylinder down to the throwout bearing and pressure plate. The way you described the pedal having no resistance left me thinking snapped rod. If all was well from pedal to slave cylinder you should have at least a little resistance.

your slave or master could have went bad. if you lose a seal in one of those you will have a limp pedal. you need to figure out if it's a disconnected pedal (sounds like the linkage snapped somewhere with the sound you said it had) or if it's hydraulic. if it's hydraulic and you still have fluid and no leaks, you suffered an internal failure of either a master or slave...they are cheap enough, i'd just replace 'em both...

I'd say the same thing , I would look at the master for sure. I had a bad master one time and i had NO pedal at all.all i can do is spring my pedal up and down like nothing there , so i took the internal piston & spring out of my master and replaced it with one out of a used one i had in my yard and it worked excellent.

and just because your parts are brand new doesnt mean anything. i got a new brake master, put it in, and a month later it was leaking from the secondary seal. things like that happen, your problem def sounds hydraulic.

By "both" you mean master and slave?

Did you replace the plastic line? It s prone to getting tiny pinholes in it over time and will allow air into the system.

Congrats on getting it fixed! But like q said, if you didn't replace the line you might want to.
