why would I be surprised? i'm a nearly stock ECSB V6 truck. the fact I can hang with my year V6 mustang is enough for me. I just assumed they were faster.
I never said a thing about boost either. Anything boosted will beat me I bet.
if you're not aware 10.56 is really slow haha. the four cylinder hondas weren't far behind.

Replaced the gearbox. Which made no noticeable difference, so now I'm a little stumped and frustrated. Oh well... Luckily it was a free one, off the truck i'm going to scrap!

Plasti-dipped the tailgate handle and bezel. It looks like ****, I need to pull it off and color-match it, unfortunately it was far too windy for me to do that tonight. Oh well, better than no handle.

Was gonna trade the Tahoe in, but they didn't want to give me anything for it...so I guess I'll be selling it outright and then go buy a new gas sippa. Just can't see giving a vehicle away to a dealership! I never have, and most likely never will!
Washed the Tahoe earlier today, and started designing a sub box for the HD to hold 1 Kicker CVT 10 behind the rear seat.
Washed and waxed the crew cab. Looks better than it did when I picked her up. Cleaned the aftermarket rims up with some SOS pads (dang those things work good for so many things). Cleaned the throttle body. Gonna work on painting my frame tomorrow and clean the rims some more.

Just upgraded to suburban brakes on my Silverado. New rotors, calipers, backing plates, parking shoes and hardware. Broke one of the parking shoe retaining bolts had to pull the differential cover and axle shaft....Also replaced intermediate and rear parking brake cables. Should pass inspection now.
Used as a workbench, again. Ill really miss having a pickup...

Finally completed the Road Armor bumper install today. Luckily I had a great friend with a great shop that was well equipped. The total time it took to complete everything was about 6 hours. The winch install was the only tricky part, but figured it out in the end. I have attached a link with the pictures during the install. If we don't have one, I can do a write up on it.
Here are the pictures, which also can be seen through my garage link. I think I need to update my Avatar now.

Shocks should be delivered tomorrow. All I have left to get for my 2/4 are front struts and the Burb will be getting closer to the ground
I also have a rear hitch closeout being delivered in the next couple of days. Just need to get her painted when she arrives and slap her in![]()
