I got my splash guards on finally. They look better than I thought they would. Pics when I get it clean.
Sometimes the best part of my job is that my chair swivels.
I don't really want them but I drive a lot of country roads and I'm getting AT tires with a 2" lift. I'm going to be slinging tons on my sides.

Yeouch!!! I dislike gravel roads with a passionThey tear up a ride with a quickness.
These guards seem to work well. They are the Husky Liner brand and seem to vanish when looking at from profile. They also don't hang much lower than my steps so its all good.

Changed oil, transfer case, rear diff, and front diff today. Tommorow i get to start on the steering slop in my truck (worn steering gear, woohoo).
Bought new glass for the driver's side mirror that some piece of **** busted out.
Went and nabbed the Escalade front seats today. $78 for the pair with all the rails, mounts, and motors. This also allows me to use all four headrests, with the adjustables up front.
Old seat next to dirty caddy seat:
One seat cleaned:
Both installed:
Ignore the current state of the center console. I left paint stripper on it to long and ended up having to smooth it out to make it look decent again. Going to get the back seats and more color coat this weekend. I'll paint the console, and put a thin coat over the seats to make them look smoother.
Also ignore the rips in the seats. I'll have them redone in a month or two.
The drivers seat plugged right in to the existing connector, so I tested it and was happy to see that all the motors still worked in it. Need to run one more wire for the heat, and then start wiring the passenger seat. Was also glad that sitting in the seat just long enough to adjust it helped with my back pain.
I put a trailer hitch on my truck today.

Oh, ok. I dont understand the design thoughts behind some mounts. My fisher mounts tuck up and out of the way nicely. Not to insult, but I see the one on your truck, and the western or Blizzard ones on trucks around here and the dam things are like 4 inches off the ground(not yours, but the ones with the thin metal pin on each side). I just dont get it. Seems to defeat the front end clearance of a truck. I suppose one good thing about them is the lack of need for slotting the lower valance![]()

I replaced both coolant sensors and the upper pigtail with AC Delco parts, and heat shielded the new lower gauge sensor, Gauge is accurate and i hope to get some better gas mileage. I was throwing code P1117.

Not P1117... cant remember...code showed that there was no signal from the upper coolant sensor.
