This is a discussion on What did you do to your FSC today? within the Technical / Maintenance forums, part of the General Discussion category; I'm not sure if we have a post like this yet, but I thought it might be a good idea ...
I'm not sure if we have a post like this yet, but I thought it might be a good idea to get one going. I'm sure on our days off, we all wind up in the driveway messing with our trucks, because it is impossible NOT to do so.
Today, I decided to take the console/cover off my 4x4 shift lever and switch the indicator lightbulbs back to their rightful positions. Some imbecile (previous owner?) had them in the wrong spots, so that it had the "4x4" and front drive train lit up all the time, and the back came on when I shifted into 4 high. It was driving me crazy, and now all is aesthetically proper again.
SO, what did you do to your Chevy today?
1992 K2500 LD 4x4, 5.7, 700r4, 3.73 14-bolt, G80, Cleaner than sh!t.2001 Tahoe LS 4x4(the wife's), 5.3, 3.73, G80, third-row seats.
Washed and waxxed it today. Cleaned the interior a little also.
Fixed some wiring, Install my Gauge Pod with my Gauges, about to go clean my TBI Heads.
Like Kyles03, I gave mine a much needed late winter bath yesterday and followed it up with some Chemical Guys Wet-Mirror glaze to give it some more protection between now and when the roads are finally washed of all the salt they have spread over the past few months. Thins looks better than new right now thanks to switching from wax and using a sealant when I detail.
Today... I thought about cracking the master cylinder lines and bleeding the last bit of trapped air out in hopes of restoring my brake pedal to 100% since my most recent brake work, but procrastination got the best out of me so I'll give that a try tomorrow I suppose.

Turned my torsion bars a little more on my tahoe. Cleaned the inside and I am still trying to resolve my winch problem.

vacumed out the suburban and almost cleaned the outside but didnt lol.

Well nothing physically but i did buy some new 9011 HIR bulbs to replace my 9005 silverstar ultra high beams...should have them next week.

actually i just finished installing new clips for the rear windows that gets rid of the wind noise while driving on freeway speeds.

Changed the oil, added washer fluid, checked tire pressure. I think I'm going to go clean up the interior a little bit.
Atomic why does it show like 100 fuel psi?
Other than that it looks alot like mine, except mine's AFR, Tranny temp, FP
loaded mine up with garbage and hauled it to the dump, got some gas in it and on the way home picked up 8 sheets or 12ftx4ft. sheetrock.

The fuel pressure isnt connected yet, just installed the gauge today. I need a fitting to connect to the schrader valve.

I started it.
Those are the three gauges I have, same order. The A/F ratio gauge drives me nutsit bounces constantly .. I have a 4th gauge for the pressure in the air tank. When I redo the interior I'll make a housing for the air gauge and move the a/f gauge also

My local O'reillys had a special for Royal Purple oil and a K&N oil filter. So I changed some fluids today. Then washed it. I didn't think this truck was all that big till I washed it...whew.

I didn't actually do anything to the truck, but I ordered a bunch of stuff... Volant CAI, 16x8 AR23 American Racing wheels, In the process of ordering my Blackbear Tune. And Bought 2 BFG A/Ts, 285/75R16.

Today I drove my FSC a grand total of 15 feet so I could get the Ford dump truck out of the yard and to the scrap yard. Spent the rest of my day on a tractor. Tomorrow the Burb gets rear brakes.
i fixed my leaking trans cooler line, the rubber line crimped over the steel line is a crappy design.
