96 vortec not running right

    96 vortec not running right

    1996 chevy 350 tbi engine, will start, idle roughly, once put into gear will die unless feathered. Once under way will not accelerate. If given lots of throttle underway will simply die, fuel filter replaced with no improvement. Also when in neutral you can rev the engine up without it bogging. It will only bog and die when in gear. New plugs and wires also.

    how did your old plugs look?
    did you check fuel pressure?

    old plugs looked pretty fowled up. Im not sure how to check the fuel pressure.

    attach a fuel gauge to your shrader valve on your fuel rail
