I have a 99 silverado 4wd 4.8L that has air in the abs unit .No amount of bleeding will get it out. Is there some way to cycle the abs unit while the vehicle is stationary? It seems that this would be a common problem and somebody smarter than me has already come up with a fix.

You'll need a scan tool to run a computer bleed. Tech 2 or Snap-On scanner will work.

Find a shop that has that kind of scanner.
