A/C not blowing air....blower motor need replaced?

Hey guys. Been on the forum for a while but tend to be more of a lurker but was looking for some advice. I drive a 2005 Chevy Silverado Z71. Recently, the A/C has just quit blowing air. It will occasionally come on but does not blow very strong. Still having condensation, just no air. Any suggestions?

if the blower is not blowing, check for power and ground at the blower motor

I apologize, should have been more clear. It is like my A/C system itself is working but the blower motor is not coming on. I do not get any air out of the air vents, nor the defrost vents. I have checked the fuses, I will be looking into checking the wiring on the motor tomorrow.

Does the blower work when the AC is off... just heat or vent?

First thing is check the power connector on the blower for power. Check the condition of the connector... mine was very loose, so I replaced it when I replaced my blower.

Pulled the blower motor today and hooked up some jumper wires to it and it came right on. Looks like it is probably the blower motor resistor. Thanks for the help.

If all fuses are good and the resistor is not the issue then it is usually the control switch. Just out of curiosity do you get fan action when the AC is off? or none at all?

If none at all then see about a set of controls from a wrecking yard. I am assuming you have the manual controls for your truck and not the digital auto controls. If you have the auto ones get it off auto mode it never seems to know what you want just what it thinks you want.

I have the auto controls. Does not come on when turned off. I tried it with the auto, as well as just turning the fan up. Neither worked.
