    2004 silverado 5.3L battery issues HELP

    so today i noticed my windshild whiper hose was broken next to my battery
    so i pulled the battery and fixed the hose after i hooked the battery back up and started the truck it begain to stall and spudder so i diconected the battery and hooked it back up again and it still chuged and ran like ****.. so i kept wiggling and messing with the termals and now the truck runs good but it blows hot air like stupid hot air when the a.c is on wtf happend someone help me thanks

    I'm guessing that your blend door motor went out when you were messing with the battery. I just had to replace mine. I found the updated version available at my local O'Reilly's for $42.00. It looks just like the updated version that I put in my son's Corvette. I bought those at the dealer for about $200 each!! As for the rough running.....Try dipping the ends of your cables in a mixture of 3 tablespoons of baking soda to a quart of water. I'm betting that you will find that you have a corrosion build-up on your cable ends that is hidden under the plastic insulators. Let them soak a while until the "fizzing" stops and then reinstall them and you should be fine.
