maybe too much current draw. how much current is required to turn on all hid's?
did the stock lights work?
relays drawing power from where? did you run a separate power wire from the battery? what about ground wire?

Ok, ive had headlamps blowing fuses for weeks now, had time this weekend to tinker around with them. My headlamps have 5000k hid kits in them, and the spyder.projectors have the same.
I removed the factory lamps, looked.for chaffed wires, found none.
If i unplug all the light plugs, no fuses pop when i turn the switches on.
If i plug in the foglamp plugs, the fuses pops as soon as i switch em on.
I camt get either headlamp or highbeam to fire, fuses dont pop.
I installed all the relay harnesses that came with the hid kits, and no change, still no lihts, fog lamp fuses dont pop now.
I have tried all the plugs for polarity change, nothing...
Im pisses and have no idea why.6 ballasts wont.fire up now.
Anyone have any.ideas on where to look or what to try? I would like to be able to drive at night again...

Relays are all hard wired to my battery post, the grounds are attached to the bracket that I made, which grounds fine as per my test light...
Another issue that I have, I installed the 50W slow flash resistors in PARALLEL to the signal light bulbs on the flashing circuit, and they still blink fast. I thought that they may need more resisitance, so I went to add the LED bulbs into my tails, and a resistor on each side back there, and then when I signal, they still go fast, but feed back to the other side (right signal blinks fast and bright, left side blinks dim) so I removed all that and went back to stock, and now I have just the fast flash again.
I think what I will do is just order the canbus ballast kits again and start from scratch... This is really pissing me off that I cant nail this down. Im an Auto Tech by trade, I shouldnt be having this kind of trouble with simple headlamp wiring. Im thinking I fried the ballasts, but I dont know what voltage they are to see if they are putting out. I did buy the cheap kits, the company I got them from had premium kits as well for 20 bucks more with slim mount canbus ballasts. My kid brother got the expensive ones and has had zero issues. I had no issues until I wanted to install these aftermarket lights. The setup was the same as my stock lights, all I did was buy different bulbs to fit the spyder lights.
I do have 12v at all the trucks stock headlamp plugs.
The headlights and highs wont fire, the fogs wil blow their fuse and just issue a flash as they try to start but the fuse goes.
They all used to cook off the fuses, but now only the fogs pop the fuse
The relays are all putting out 12v when the headlamps are turned on.
So it seems that everything works up to the ballasts. Seems odd that I can fry 4 or 6 of them...
What is the output voltage at the ballast output leads? So I can see if they are putting out.

your gonna have to contact the manufacturer of the ballasts for that info.
if you gonna add extra power wires to the battery you have to add extra ground wires to the battery.
