1998 Chevy 1500 ecsb with 5.7 vortec hesitates on accel

Ok I have a 1998 Chevy 1500 with the commen 350 this truck has been nothing but trouble but it's my first truck I've had a push rod seize but all that's been fixed for a good 5.000 miles this truck only has 145.423 thousand miles babied miles at that but when I stomp on the accelerator now it's like she leaps and hops up until round 10 mph then I can slowly goose it and finally move fast but I can't really feel any power at starts any more she ain't got the umph and I replaced the fuel filter and that helped a lot but before she started doing of this she got to the point to where I had to crank it over longer than usually but she still started and I know it ain't the battery it's brand new and about two months later theis started happining ugh I can't show up ricers or anything right now my truck is very hessatant sometimes I got enough power to spin tires but other times she has to ease out of a stop someone please help btw I replaced sparkplugs a while back before the push rod stuck

sounds like the dreaded cpi everyone has to replace to the delphi mpfi injector assembly. if you have the ability to check live data check your ft's its probably running rich. you have any codes? you could make sure the pressure is good but the regulator is on the new mpfi ass and the pump going out would be different symptoms. i got mine from parts geek for 243. amazon is good too.
