Well long story short, I had a bad connection when I installed my overhead console and it caused the power wire to melt all the way to the fuse box and even melt the fuse it self.
I'm trying to figure out if I can just run a new power wire from the fuse box, but I have no idea how to connect the wire to the fuse box if it's even possible? Would it be easier to just run a new wire straight from the battery with an inline fuse? And if so, how would I run that to the stereo and cigarette lighter since they all run off of the CTSY fuse.

Yes its possible, the auto parts store will have the crimp on tips that plug in the fuse box so you can make it new again...
I want the long story on how a wire melted before the fuse burned... You have a paperclip or something in the fuse slot?

I figured out how to get the fuse box from the dash, but there is no room back there to work with it. Any suggestions other than removing the entire dash?

And does this orange wire run to the stereo too? or is that a seperate wire running from the same fuse? I'm not sure how this all works.
