NEED HELP! Fuel Pump Only Getting 7 Volts!

On my 94 GMC Sierra 1500 the fuel pump randomly stopped working, and i put a volt meter to the pump and it says its only gettin 7 volts. so then i tested at the relay and there it says its only gettin 7 volts. One day after i charged my battery, i went and tried to start it, and it started right up. but then quit after about a minute of running. tested it again and still says only 7 volts. Any help would be greatly appreciated. i need to get it running so i can drive it down to my buddies shop down the road to get the panels replaced and the lift kit in etc.

assuming the battery is 12v, there is a fusible link or the connection to the relay that can drop voltage. make sure your cable ends are clean and tight, you can put one lead on the relay pin where the voltage comes in and the other on pos battery terminal, if thats the problem you should see the dropped voltage then work the lead from the pos back until you get zero v. what ever you just passed is the problem.

Thanks, ill test it out when i get my battery charged its right ****ed right now, should be charged tomorrow. So ill let you know if it works
