I made this a while back when I was stuck with taking my torsion bars out for my 6" RCD lift. I could find pullers anywhere to (faire mon petit bonheur) and couldnt get a torsion bar tool for under 110$ so i made my own. Yea, it's half ass but im not too worried abou it. Just an idea for you guys what are in the same situation as I was.

i like how you labeled it, cuz someone who doesnt know about torsion bar suspension would pick it up and be like..oh yea...this is a torsion bar tool. and still be clueless.

Hell me and Demonstalker used a cinder block, ratchet strap, and a bottle jack with a nipple welded on the top. Worked like a champ...safest way, probably not, but it did work!

just to let you guys know im fending for myself here, no one has ever thought me anything, i've always been on my own. Even more now that my shop partner / dad passed. It was just a half ass tool made to use one time pretty much. Why waste any more time to do so?

I like the design. I'm going to copy it and make my own, just a little stronger.

go for it, if you ask me, one of the best 5 minutes i've ever spent in my entire life. I might weld it some more, cut the corners, and paint it to make it look a little better. And if you ever need it again someday, it's there. Another idea out there, One of my friends took and old C clamp and took the little flat piece off of the bolt part. Another way to make a T-bar tool. Of course he modified it a bit, but it worked okay.

this bessey clamp will do the same thing and is safer...but honestly. its still not safe
Just out of curiosity ( i can barley see the pic) but look on the left side below the very top weld...Sure does look like mig wire to me?
