Just got back from a 170 mile round trip to pick up some cattle with the K1500/305. 16' livestock trailer weighs about 3800lb empty. Every type of slippery substance you can imagine there and back. Black ice, normal ice, slush, snow. Couldn't see 100' infront of the truck 1/2 the time. 9900lb loaded. Slipping up hills on the way back. It's amazing how well a 305 will move 10000lb in 3/D. Can't even imagine what a 350 would be like. I don't ever want to do that again but the cattle were bought and needed moving.
