I just need someone to paint the chrome part of the front bumper black (maybe with some minor texturing?). Have thought long and hard about that and would like to see it. Will be using a painted on bed liner or spray?
Anyone have opinions on this "paint job"?

Ha i'll get some pics up as soon as i replace my bumper.... Got new one cause i hit a gaurdrail. should be up by tomorrow
might be just me, but if i was going to paint the front, i'd continue the factory gold, and call it a day...maybe its just me

The problem is that that part of the bumper is dipped in chrome so you can't really paint what you have.
Youd have to order one that wasnt dipped somehow and paint it then etc.
And that ends up costing nearly as much as a new front bumper anyways.
Besides, the other parts of the bumper are different colors too.
i was thinking smooth and paint the bumper cap gold, and then paint the chrome part gold as well...leave/dye the lower valence black
