well im looking at doing a 2tone paint job on my truck, just quick stock tan STOCK, and just paint the top from body line up all black. but im not sure how i can split this up. im hoping someone has a nonstop flame design that could run from front to back. im not looking for huge really im looking for something i can make small and it probably wont be to noticable from 10ft away. i just want something more than a simple straight pin stripe! id like to take a design to my local vinyl shop and have them cut me out a nonstop design that i can simply apply to the truck and i can paint it to act like the body line.


i really like jmig truck! im just wondering if i can do something else rather than a straight pin stripe slightly lower like he did. would be nice if i could make the flame design split in half and have the flame black with the roofs color overlaping the tan middle. if you understand that. or maybe that wont look right. thats why im hoping someone can help me out with some kinda quick chop.




heres a old picture another member did awhile back for me.

BUT i will have a camper shell on the truck maybe half the time. i will be using it for mostly cold weather so fall-spring. im the summer ill have my soft tono cover on the back instead. and i had painted my old camper to match BUT sold it because it was old and i found a newer much nicer camper shell even tho it looks the same as the one i had but its white right now. so ive been thinking since i gotta paint it anyways and id love to have a cowl hood also someday, black is the easiest color to match so i can later paint the new hood IF/WHEN i get a nice cowl hood. so i could go ahead and do a full black roof.
id just rather not have a straight 2tone edge if i can get away with it with a minor design somewhere around an inch wide or less.

i really hope somebody has a flame design or a few that continue on and on that might go good for a 2tone split design.
AFTER SEARCHING FOR PICS THESE ARE ALL I CAN FIND THAT I LIKE.... either the cross over design which looks really nice but id have to make it larger of course! maybe but it might be harder to do the shading since ive never done that personally.

or like a basic flame. tho hard to tell with that picture because they did 2 different styles together. and id like it to be a smaller design. in that picture its like 4-6inches wide id like it somewhere around 1inch just to keep it small and not to noticable. tho it kinda makes it hard to do color choice as i am not willing to paint the stock tan color over fully for full color change. call it to lazy cause i dont want to paint jams and bed and such other parts that make color changes realy hard!
i just dont know if this design split in half would even look like a flame anymore.



i really have no idea how im gonna do it and make it be nice. id like for it to be alittle custom and simple at the same time, nothing to wicked. this is my daily driver and toy do i dont want a huge target on it, which makes it realy freakin hard to decide! any opinions or help?
