I have a 2004 CCSB Silverado with the LM7 5.3L. It has a G80 with 3.73's, and the following mods,
UPD Intake Tube & Airbox Lid, K&N air filter [oem style], cold air modified factory airbox bottom, Magnaflow 14" case with 3" SI/SO muffler in place of the oem muffler.
With the above mods, would there be a significant difference in positive gains with an 89 tune vs. an 87 tune?
Gains will always be better with higher octane- provided it is good quality.
Some show and some go.....
