New from maryland
Whats up yall. Im new to the site and figured i would stop by and say hey. I have a 2000 silverado regular cab 4.8l right now. The plan was to start playin with this truck alittle bit, but first i was gonna have to do alil cosmetic work. I have had the truck since it was new but it was used alot for landscaping. So it looks beat up. Well, my brother had a 2001 silverado 5.3 extended cab. Short story, someone was driving it and cracked the heads. It wasnt worth him to fix it so he said he'd give it to me if i wanted it, just had to fix it. Well, im gettin it fixed for about 600 bucks. ( nice to have mechanic friends).lol. Anyways, So now, im puttin my effort into that. Im gonna be puttin up a post in alittle while about evrything i should do, reccomendations, etc. well.. hope to talk to you all soon and look forward to being a part of your group. thanks you all.

Late in this thread too. Welcome to the site. Not too terribly far from you in Gettysburg. Work in Anne Arundel Co.
Do you have big white letters on your back window ?
I'm right off of the main strip in Shadyside and I've seen your truck a few times down in Deale.
There's also another like yours that i see some mornings coming out of Mayo.
Most of the trucks down here are lifted but I have seen 4 or 5 street trucks that come through daily.

That's where I've seen it. Down there parked next to a pewter grey rimmed up smaller Chevy truck. As a matter of fact
I spoke to a guy down at SST about about doing some body work for me awhile back. I think he buys older Chevy Impala's and some trucks rebuilds them to sell them.
