    Hey guys,

I dont really post here very often but im definitely going to start more often. i have 1993 chevy 1500 with a 350 5.7 which is a brand new motor. just got it 5000 miles ago. thats a whole nother story. but anyways i just recently decided im keeping this truck for the rest of my life after just blowing my motor, tranny, starter, water pump, tail lights, etc. you name it and ive probably replaced it. but thats what has led me to love my truck like i do. so i have decided to keep it because by now its a freakin brand new truck. here is what she looked like when i first bought her.

got her for 4000 dollars. i wasnt a fan of the paint but the truck seemed to be in great condition. it only had 61,000 miles when i got it. so after replacing practically everything i started to save some money and got a cheapo body lift and some 33 inch nitto terra grapplers. i also installed a sound system that consists of 2 rockford fosgate p3 slims (12") behind the seats and a sundown saz 1500. the big 3 is done, all 0 gauge knukonceptz wiring, alpine cde 9881 headunit, optima red top up front and kinetic hc2400 in the cab. here are videos of the system and pics of what the truck looked like.

    flexed out

i thought for sure thats all i would ever want. just some simple 33 all terrains and a small lift. ha i was wrong. i decided i wanted to go for the ALL black look. i mean everything black. so i called up my cousin who works at a body shop and he gave me some quotes and i decided on it. i cant get my whole truck painted until summer because he has a baby on the way and he will be busy until summer when we can just do little parts at a time. he lives in arkansas and i live in ga. thats another reason this isnt very easy. but here are pics of the brand new grill, front and rear bumpers i just got and my cousin painted them for me.
20% tint on the sides 5 on the back and 5% strip.

i smoked out my lights too. they were all black at first but he accidentally did them too dark so i told him to just sand and buff where the lights come out so i dont get pulled over.

this summer i will be getting black 17x9 xd hoss's, 35 inch nitto mud grapplers, magnaflow high flow cats with two super 40 mufflers(true duals), hid lights, black paint, 2 inch blocks in the rear with tb crank to level, black toolbox, and eventually bedliner. i know all of the interesting stuff is going to come later but i thought id give yall a sneak peak of what was goin on. please post any comments or thoughts!

    thanks guys!

That looks great. The tails look really good blacked out like that. I would love to have a 1500 RCSB like that as another toy.

One of the most dangerous political philosophies afflicting America today is the belief that we canít allow anyone to suffer the natural consequences of their own stupidity.

    morgo- thanks!

goped- thanks man i appreciate it. and if i could find someone to paint my truck here for as cheap as im getting it and have it be done right i would definitely take them up on the offer.

big kenney- thanks man. the paint is in good shape. i just dont really like the color and i want to black the whole thing out. im hoping it will look good.

jonnyu- thanks but you do understand that the body will be painted as well. and im getting black rims too right? if i left the chrome grill and chrome bumpers with that ugly molding stuff on it i dont think it would look near as good as if i went all black. you agree?
