Are any superchargers legal for CA smog?

Its in the title. I have heard from many people that California wont allow these types of modifications. By that I mean when you take your truck to get smogged, they wont pass it.

I bought a Procharger earlier this year and will finally begin installing it this weekend. Hit me up and I'll take you for a spin.

I have passed smog with the supercharger the last few smogs... Each tech says how surprised they are on how clean it runs, no issues..

    I have a Powerdyne.

I don't think it's the actual SC itself so much as the tuning that comes with it that makes it smog legal. I'm sure almost any SC can be tuned to pass the test, so long it's not a ridiculous amount of boost.

I am running 11 lbs. of boost... I also have yet to tune my truck so I am sure it will only be better all around once I do. I have long tube headers, roller rockers, MSD 6 BTM, dual exhaust, etc, but I have carb E.O. stickers under the hood and have no trouble at smog time.

I'm running a PAXTON sn2000 in a 91 scsb and have never had a problem with smoging it. Your good as long as it has the CARB numbers on it.

Most of the manufactures do have C.A.R.B. for the 96-2000 Truck kits.

    Procharger C.A.R.B. EO:# D-356-3
    Vortech C.A.R.B. EO:# D-213-16

The other guys brand headers... Very happy with them, but they cost a small fortune!
