stylin concepts have the kit
I've searched and am unsatisfied with the results, can someone direct me or give me a for sure answer to this. I have a 2002 1500 2wd silverado and want to put an 03-06 front on it. Exactly what parts are needed to do this? I currently have a hood, fenders, headlights, turn signals and grille shell. Is there headlight buckets i need? or the newer core support? i've read a lot of different things, can someone help clear this up. thanks.

here's a link to the thread i started and the answers i got....
headlamp supports for sure, i think the core support is the same. you have the right idea, I might be wrong but i'm not sure the harnesses are the same. may want to check on that, it would be easy to convert if they are not.
'99 RCSB 2wd -7" front, 5" Rear, 315/75/16 M/T, F/R bumpers, 9" Lighting
FOR SALE: OEM Camper Mirrors, Tough Country Front bumper,
Spare Tire Mount, & Skid Plate for 7" pro comp lift (PM ME)
so I went outside tonight and pulled the headlights, turn signals and grille shell off my 02 silvy, when I test fit the 03-06 shell and headlights, the headlight mounting panels don't line up to the grille shell clips. I found the headlight mounting panels on ebay for $30, hopefully thats all thats needed for the new shell to clip on. I will do a write up on this when I get all the parts, maybe it can be stickied and we won't have all these questions.
sounds like a great idea man! i am interested in doin the swap some day
2005 Chevy Trailblazer 2wd LS White. Tint, painted mirror caps, system, more to come...
Grab everything! Hood, fenders, grille, bumper, headlights, might need the header panel, and grab the wiring too. There ya go, thats about it. Just too much $$$ for me, otherwise I'd to it too!
'01 XCSB a few mods done to it.

I just did the grille, headlight, fender and hood swap. I didn't do a bumper because i'm building my own. The only part needed besides the obvious is the headlight brackets. They bolt directly to the 99-02 core support. You don't need wiring for anything or a core support. Here are some pics:
looks good!! thinkin bout doin the 06 chevy or GMC on mine, but not sure

What would besides hood, grill, fenders, and lights for '04 Silverado swap to a GMC.
I was looking at the diagrams on LMC Truck, and it seems the mount similiar, I'm just curious if I took all the chevy parts off, would the GMC parts bolt right up, or would I need new brackets. Swap looks awesome by the way.
really the only difference there could be is the core support, so if you went to or called a dealership and cross-reference the core supports between the gmc and chevy front and see if they are the same or different. That might at least give you an idea if it'll work. Thanks for the comments.
layinlow new front end looks good. i just got done doing the same thing 00 silverado with 05 front end.
camaroracing- the gm front end is alittle different i think you will need a new rad support or headlight mounting brackets
so did you get the headlight brackets? And did they bolt right up? I have a 2000 sierra and want to do this swap
